The rules of the road

FlightDeck (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a career and learning platform for Indian pilots and aspirants, operated from India. Our website is flightdeck.in. By accessing or using FlightDeck you agree to these Terms.

FlightDeck provides reference content, mock examinations, planning tools, a directory of flying schools, and a marketplace to book paid one-on-one consultations (“Sessions”) with verified pilots and aviation medical examiners.

We are not affiliated with the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), the Indian Air Force, the Indian Navy, the Indian Army, or any government body. We are not a flying training organisation, an examiner, or a medical practitioner. All information on the platform is for educational reference only and does not constitute legal, medical, or career advice.

You must be at least 14 years old to create an account. You agree to provide accurate information during sign-up and onboarding, keep your password secure, and not share your account with anyone else. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account.

You can delete your account at any time by emailing hello@flightdeck.in. We will delete your personal data within 30 days, subject to legal retention obligations.

Most planning tools, the Pathway Navigator, the Eligibility checker, and the ROI calculator are free to use. Mock exam access, expert Sessions, and certain advanced tracker features may require payment. Pricing is displayed at the point of purchase.

Sessions are 30-minute one-on-one video calls (typically Google Meet) with an independently verified expert. The expert is an independent contractor, not an employee of FlightDeck. We verify credentials before listing but do not guarantee the accuracy or outcome of any advice given during a Session.

Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Refund Policy. Payments are processed by Razorpay; FlightDeck does not store your card details.

When you log flight hours, log medicals, write a school review, or submit a support ticket, you grant FlightDeck a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host and display that content on the platform for the purpose of operating the service.

You retain ownership of your content. We will never sell your flight log, medical records, or training history to third parties.

You agree not to:

• Scrape, crawl, or bulk-download our content without permission
• Submit knowingly false reviews or impersonate another person
• Use the platform to harass, defame, or harm any expert, school, or other user
• Reverse-engineer the mock-exam engine or attempt to extract the full question bank
• Use the platform for any illegal purpose under Indian law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000

The platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Aviation regulations change frequently — always verify eligibility, exam syllabi, FTO accreditation, and medical requirements with the official source (DGCA, AFCAT, the school itself) before making any career or financial decision.

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of FlightDeck is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or ₹5,000, whichever is lower.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be flagged on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of the platform after changes means you accept the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of FlightDeck will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at New Delhi, India.
