Your data, in plain English

• We collect only what we need to make the platform work for you.
• Your data lives on Google Cloud / Firebase servers in the asia-south1 (Mumbai) region.
• We never sell your flight log, mock results, or medical records to anyone.
• Payments are handled by Razorpay — we never see or store your card number.
• You can delete your account and all associated data at any time by mailing hello@flightdeck.in.

Account data — name, email, optional photo URL (when you sign in with Google). Stored in Firebase Auth.

Onboarding answers — your goal, current education status, stream, age, and budget. Used to personalise pathway recommendations and the dashboard.

Career data you choose to log — flight hours, medical history, exam attempts, license validity dates. Visible only to you.

Bookings — when you book an expert Session: the expert, the slot, payment confirmation from Razorpay (ID and status, never card details).

Usage data — pages visited, mock-test scores, and error logs, used to improve the product. We do not run third-party ad-tracking pixels.

All personal data is stored in Google Firestore and Firebase Auth in the asia-south1 (Mumbai)region. We use Google Cloud's standard encryption at rest and in transit.

Email is processed by transactional-email providers when we send you booking confirmations. We will list those providers here when they are wired up (currently we communicate via direct support email).

Verified experts — when you book a Session, the expert sees your name, email, and the time you booked, so they can send you the meeting link. They do not see your flight log, medicals, or mock history.

Payment processor — Razorpay receives the minimum information needed to process your payment, governed by their own privacy policy.

Nobody else. We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data to advertisers, recruiters, schools, or any third party.

We use Firebase Auth cookies to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. Basic anonymised analytics may be added in future — if so, this page will be updated and you will be notified.

You have the right to:

• Access a copy of the data we hold about you
• Correct or update inaccurate information
• Delete your account and all associated data
• Object to specific processing

To exercise any of these rights, mail hello@flightdeck.in. We will respond within 30 days.

FlightDeck is not directed at children under 14. If you believe a child under 14 has created an account, mail us and we will delete it within 7 days.

We use Firebase's built-in security rules to ensure only you can read or write your own data. All traffic is over HTTPS. Server-side writes for trust-critical operations (bookings, refunds, expert verification) are gated by the Firebase Admin SDK.

That said, no platform is 100% secure. If you suspect your account has been compromised, mail us immediately at hello@flightdeck.in.

Material changes will be flagged with an updated “Last updated” date. We will not retroactively reduce the privacy protections you signed up for without your explicit consent.
